If you are signing up as an Individual Member, do you have a degree in Depth Psychology?
Jungian, Other degree not listed here
If so, from what institution?
I have a Certification in Depth-psychotherapy from the C. G. Jung Institute in Evanston, IL and an MSW from Loyola University, Chicago, IL.
Are you a licensed or clinical therapist?
For thirty years I was a LCSW and CADC in Chicago, IL. Semi-retired to Florida seven years ago to finish my book, "The Dream Belongs to the Dreamer".
Please share a little about yourself by way of introduction. What draws you to Depth Psychology and what are you looking for from this community?
I spent four years studying at the C.G. Jung Institute in Evanston, IL under Dr. Murray Stein and Dr. James Wylie. While there I embraced the Jungian community and depth-psychtheraputic concepts and integrated them into my practice. Currently my mission is to help mainstream individuals understand their dreams. That is the focus of my book. To that end I need support from a knowledgable and peer-related community.
Do you belong to any other online Psychology-related communities or orgs? If so, which?
Quite a few when I had my practice and training program in Chicago.
Currently Carl Jung Depth Psychology online

What is your WEB SITE (IF you would like to promote it)?
Greetings Velva Lee and welcome to the online depth psychology community. I'm glad you've found us. I am anxious for you to share your wealth of experience with depth psychology and especially dreamwork. When you are finished with your book, please contact Bonnie Bright about the possibility of it being featured as a book club discussion book.
As you may know, we currently have over 2600 members from all over the world. I hope as you explore the community a bit you find a dynamic group of like-minded people who are all deeply drawn by the field of depth psychology. While there are many Jungian analysts and clinical psychologists here, our members come from many walks of life--artists, writers, doctors, healing professionals, counselors, students, business people, etc--so there is much cross-disciplinary knowledge and experience here to be shared.
We recommend that to get started, you personalize your profile photo by going to your "My page" and rolling your cursor over the default C.G. Jung image. That will give you the option to switch it out. As well, there are many opportunities to engage as you browse the site. When you're ready to jump in, please feel free to post a topic for discussion in the forum, respond to someone else's post, or share a link to an article or web site you like.
