i have a PhD in Clinical Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute 2001. My dissertation, titled Hell's Angels, was a phenomenological study of women who are committed to or marry lifers or death row inmates after his incarceration. I have turned this dissertation into my book: Hades Angels, which probes the forces behind such relationships. Women in the general population can learn a great deal from this unique population of women because their stories replicate those of strong, outwardly successful women in the general population. There are universal lessons for women on the outside who have similar kinds of wounding.
