I am drawn to the interface between interior and external worlds, and have long been fascinated with ny own experience of the mythic imagination and creative consciousness, mediated through in depth study of the works of Carl Jung, James Hillman, Joseph Campbell, Robert Sardello, Marion Woodman, Mary Watkins, Christine Downing, et.al. What I will gain are the benefits of cameraderie and the exchange of knowledge that comes as we indvidually and collective explore the imaginal.
Do you belong to any other online Psychology-related communities or orgs? If so, which?
I work closely with OPUS Archives & Research Center, am on the committee planning the Inaugural Symposium for the Study of Mythology (slated for late summer, 2012), and am an integral part of the leadership team that steers the Joseph Campbell Foundation

Your work with OPUS will be invaluable as we share our thoughts, learning, and questions. The Alliance is a mix of newcomers and those both trained and living the mythic life. I believe you will find the Alliance to your liking.
Hi Stephen. Welcome to the online Depth Community. I'm glad you've found us. I love that you are seeking a community "in communion"--and feel that the Alliance is truly that. We are a very special group of people with the mission to help depth psych and soul flourish in the world. Your work with OPUS and the Inaugural Symposium is clearly an indication of your own passion and commitment--and I truly hope you will share with us in the community (maybe via the Forum) -- what you are doing and what upcoming programs, events, and developments might be meaning ful to all of us here. I would certainly be interested personally.
To that end, I hope you will jump in and engage right away by joining a discussion, commenting on others' posts, or posting some of your work so you can truly make the depth community your own. I'll send you some tips on navigating the site in a separate email. Enjoy!
