If you are signing up as an Individual Member, do you have a degree in Depth Psychology?
If so, from what institution?
As a part of my complexes, I was half way through my Senior year at the University of Montana majoring in Interpersonal Communications. Joyce Hocker was one of my profs.
Are you a licensed or clinical therapist?
No, I'm an interested layman. When my best friend introduced me to Jung in a more complete way than the snippets we were exposed to in classes.
Please share a little about yourself by way of introduction. What draws you to Depth Psychology and what are you looking for from this community?
Many wounds have been healed over the years by paying attention to my dreams, yet I still have much further to go. Someday, I would like to be free of my neuroses.
Do you belong to any other online Psychology-related communities or orgs? If so, which?
I subscribe to the Ashville Jung Center newsletter and the Jung Platform, along with 12 Step oriented sites.
If you have a Twitter, Facebook, Blog, or LinkedIn account and would like to have people "follow" you, list it here
I do have a Linked In account, however I do not use it much. I am permanently disabled by refractory fibromyalgia and phantom pain from my right arm amputation. I use my other email address at Linked In - email@example.com

Hello dear Rod, and a huge welcome to the online depth psychology community!
We're delighted you've found us. Here you will find others who share your interest in the power of dreams, Jungian psychology (both lay and professional :), and we certainly look forward to hearing more of your story - as much as you wish to share it along the way.
As you may know, we currently have nearly 2,000 members from all over the world and we're growing. I hope as you explore the community a bit you find a dynamic group of like-minded people who are all deeply drawn by the field of depth psychology. While there are many Jungian analysts and clinical psychologists here, our members come from various walks of life including artists, writers, doctors, scientists, healing professionals, counsellors, students, business people, etc - so there is much cross-disciplinary knowledge and experience here to be shared.
On that note, there are many opportunities to engage as you browse the site. When you're ready to jump in, please feel free to post a topic for discussion in the forum, respond to someone else's post, or share a link to an article or web site you like.
Also, you may be aware of the January online book club featuring "The War of the Gods in Addiction" with David E. Schoen who is, of course, also offering a free 4-week teleseminar which started January 9 - though you can listen to the archived version and join any future week. Since the online part of the Book Club is done via writing in an open forum, you can participate at your own level and schedule - and you can join the discussion anytime, even if you don't have the book. Also upcoming in January is a special study group on the Red Book with Robert Bosnak starting today(!), January 19.
