Please share a little about yourself by way of introduction. What draws you to Depth Psychology and what are you looking for from this community?
I've always been drawn to what Michael Meade called the "world behind the world," and the intersection between inner and outer natures. For me, the inner, symbolic, realm is where the creativity and connectedness that gives meaning to life is born and nurtured.
Do you belong to any other online Psychology-related communities or orgs? If so, which?

Hi Rebecca. Welcome to the Alliance. I'm finishing coursework in June in the Depth Program at Pacifica myself and you've probably already noticed there are a lot of Pacifica students, grads, and faculty here in the community. I know you've already indicated your willingness to be on the Reading Committee for Depth Insights and I'm so grateful and excited about your passion and contributuion. I'll send you some tips on navigating the site in a separate email in case its of help, and also some details on the Reading Committee soon. Meanwhile, enjoy the site!
You mention the intersection between outer and inner natures. As an MFT I look upon depth psychology as describing the inner systems that the connect with the exterior systems taught in typical MFT programs. Glad another MFT is with us. I hope you will find much to interest you and I look forward to your posts.
