I plan to get my P.H.D. in Clinical Psychology. I am very interested in Jungian Psychology, as well as mythology. I was introduced into Jung's thinking largely due to professor Jordan Peterson. Jung's way of thinking and philosophies are also in line with previous practice I have had in Hinduism and Buddhism, Also I am taking a look at Christianity once again, through the lens of Mythology, with the help of YouTube videos like Jonathan Pageau who is an orthodox icon carver. I came across Dr. James Newell and found him eerily similar to my life, in terms of his interest in music, and blues especially. I hope to heal myself and do inner work, and pass it on to others through therapy. I hope to be a "good person" and know myself as much as I can. I am very interested in integrating my shadow, in order to use it for the good. To become consciously aware of my unconscious as much as I possibly can. I am very new with all of this, but I believe these theories to be true in the most real sense.
Do you belong to any other online Psychology-related communities or orgs? If so, which?
