in terms of what I said January 5 "trailers are made to look like one stock movie" I bumped into something that says the same thing but in a much funnier way. It's a trailer for MONTY PYTHON AND THE HOLY…"
"Well, maybe I"m wrong and it is just that all trailers are just made to look like one stock movie.
I don't think I've seen any of Aronofsky's films. I remember wanting to see The Fountain but I didn't. I've been…"
"The trailer to NOAH looks and feels like every other big CGI movie. "Our" themes. The themes we are continually being sold. So often now the dramatic arc of movies is that of a fight. A build up of tension and with the…"
"Campfire, Burning Bush, what's the difference? Russell E. somewhere in this interview refers to YouTube as the campfire. I like the idea of it as, potentially here and there at least, as a burning bush."
"Hi Ariane, I am not familiar with your book. I meant to respond to this quote above, "if we speak of belief..." but I don't know if here a response is supposed to look at the quote in the context of your book. If so, I…"

To answer your question, I guess I was feeling a bit humorous. Bonnie has raised this question of how we "find the sacred in everyday life" and what we do in the time we daily set apart as…"
"In lieu of writing about my own efforts, I have been commenting on other peoples' efforts. I do this in an appreciative spirit and mean no offense. My own efforts have been lifelong, evolving (the most important aspect to me) and…"
"Three questions: you say "I don't practice this daily ... don't know anyone who practices it daily..." Are you saying you don't know anyone who meditates daily, who apprehends the numinous daily or what?

If you are signing up as an Individual Member, do you have a degree in Depth Psychology?
Please share a little about yourself by way of introduction. What draws you to Depth Psychology and what are you looking for from this community?
My mentor in college fascinated me with the way he regarded the world. He was an anthroposophist (and a phenomenologist). Not wanting to be either of those I have searched and searched for something that was similar: the writings of Jung, Hillman, Barfield, Dobbs, Progoff, Neumann, Piehler, etc., etc., seemed all to have in common depth psychology so here I am. I am most interested in visionary art and literature and how it has been interpreted and reinterpreted through history. There images that seem to accompany us on our journey and that is the most marvelous and real answer to materialism and scientism, as well as the truest description of my own experience, that I have encountered in the realms of theories and explanations.
Being a part of this community I hope to participate in imaginative, intelligent and positive conversations about direct experience and the stories we tell about it.
Do you belong to any other online Psychology-related communities or orgs? If so, which?
