Please share a little about yourself by way of introduction. What draws you to Depth Psychology and what are you looking for from this community?
I am passionate about consciousness awakening, and have pursued this via psychology, particularly Jung, as well as astrology since I was a teeneger over 20 years ago. I would like to learn more by sharing ideas with others interested in their own awakening as well as the exploration of consciousness generally. I wish to lern how to access the collective unconscious and have been recording my dreams for some years.
Do you belong to any other online Psychology-related communities or orgs? If so, which?
If you have a Twitter, Facebook, Blog, or LinkedIn account and would like to have people "follow" you, list it here

You need to be a member of Depth Psychology Alliance to add comments!
Hi Julian. My apologies for being slow to welcome you here. It's wonderful to see how you've jumped in with both feet and participated by sharing articles and commenting on others!
Hopefully, once you have a chance to explore the Alliance a bit you'll find a dynamic group of likeminded people who are all deeply drawn to the field of depth psychology. While there are many Jungian analysts and clinicians here, as you can probably see, our members come from many walks of life--artists, writers, doctors, healing professionals, counselors, students, business people, etc--so there is much cross-disciplinary knowledge and experience here to be shared.
On that note, in addition to the special online study group on Astrology that starts February 1, you may want to consider joining the online book club too—There's a new author each month, and you can jump in at anytime and participate at whatever level you wish. Even if you don't have the book for this month, you can read all the comments that have gone on so far and get a feel for the story--or Feb. 1 will bring a wonderful new book from Jungian Analyst Erel Shalit.
I must admit my jealousy when I read of your time in the ashram. My reading has been limited to the Upanishads but recently picked up a copy of the Gita and have enjoyed my early readings. I notice your interest in astrology and point you to the archetypal astrology group within the Alliance. You may find other like-minded folks looking for more perspectives and discussion. Indeed, there are many blogs, forums, and groups related to many topics, so jump right in. I look forward to your posts.
