Whatever Happened to the Woodstock Generation? - A Free Community Conversation at Online

September 7, 2019 from 1pm to 2pm
---This Event Has Been Canceled!--- ---------------Due to Hurricane Dorian ---------- For those of us who were alive in August of 1969, the Woodstock Music and Art Fair was more than just a music festival. For many of us, Woodstock became a symbol. It represented the idea that the values we had begun to embrace were becoming a real possibility. This August, as we observe the 50th anniversary of the Woodstock festival, and watch as contemporary culture becomes more and more violent and chaotic,…See More

Whatever Happened to the Woodstock Generation? Through scientific understanding, our world has become dehumanized. Man feels himself isolated in the cosmos. Welcome James,

I am especially interested in your joining the Alliance in that there is a smaller group within the Jung in the South group that is wanting to form a Jungian group (have I used this word too much?) in Nashville. Would it be okay with you to pass your name and contact information on to them? I believe you will find much of interest within the many blogs, forums, and groups (!) of the Alliance. Again, welcome.

Hi James. A warm welcome to the Alliance. I love the name of your web site--that was a great find!

Once you have a chance to explore the online community a bit, I think you'll find a dynamic group of likeminded people who are all highly intrigued by the field of depth psychology. And, while there are many Jungian analysts, clinicians, and psychologists here, our members come from many walks of life--artists, writers, doctors, healing professionals, counselors, students, business people, etc--so there is much cross-disciplinary knowledge and experience here to be shared.

On that note, I hope you're finding opportunities to engage as you browse the vast content and interact with others. You may want to consider joining the online book club if you haven’t already—There's a new author each month, and you can jump in at anytime and participate at whatever level you wish. February brings a wonderful new book from Jungian Analyst Erel Shalit as well as a special online study group on Astrology with long-time astrologer Kathleen Burt.

In case you need detailed help getting started and navigating the site, please use the following link-- http://www.depthpsychologyalliance.com/page/navigating-the-site --and please don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions at all! I look forward to seeing you around the community~Bonnie Bright, Founder
