Hi David, I bought the book, Underworld and Archetypes Illustrated. As a layman, I might not be able to competently review it, but it looked fascinating and appears to be a book of reference that will help me to understand this subject as my perspective widens.

I will certainly contribute a commentary on the thread you posted for the community here. This may take some time, as I'm still reading a couple others now, including Re-visioning Psychology by Hillman, pertaining to this topic.

Thank you for the heads-up about this book.

I apologize for the lateness of response to your message. I have been swamped with dissertation writing. I hope you found a person that can review the book for you and submit. Many times I would jump at the chance but being behind and behinder, it was not possible.

I hope you are well.

Greetings David and welcome to the Depth Psychology Alliance. With so many options in cyberland, I am pleased you chose to join our wonderful online community! There are a number of people who are part of this community that might be able to give you any expertise you may desire on the multiple depth psychologies at play in the world. If you have a new depth psychology book that you are publishing, you might want to have someone write a review for submission for the Depth Insights E-zine.

We currently have over 3800 members from all over the world! As you explore our community, I hope you find a dynamic group of like-minded people who I believe are all deeply drawn by the field of depth psychology. The Depth Psychology Alliance is proud that our members come from many walks of life--artists, clinicians, writers, doctors, healing professionals, counselors, students, business people, etc.--so there is much cross-disciplinary knowledge and experience to be shared in our community.

We recommend that to get started, you personalize your profile photo by going to your "My page" and rolling your cursor over the default C.G. Jung image. This gives you the option to switch it to a personal picture. As well, there are many opportunities to engage as you browse the site. When you're ready to jump in, please feel free to post a topic for discussion in the forum, respond to another member's post, or share a link to an article or web site you like.

Here are a few quick links to front page items that may be of interest to you. The Spring 2015 Depth Insights E-zine has a call out for papers, art, and poetry with a April 1, 2015 deadline for submissions. After reading the submission guidelines, if you have any questions, you can contact me. The Multimedia Library contains talks, videos and articles that may be of interest to you.  And, the Depth Psychology Alliance Events page contains calls for papers, upcoming conferences, and workshops.

You can also weigh in on the weekly depth discussions by clicking the image and quote at the top of the home page. And here's a link to help you navigate the site for your convenience.

Please don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions. I look forward to seeing you around the community.
