I think the site is a terrific place to direct your students. It's relatively new--started by Bonnie Bright, who may be doing her dissertation on it for her Depth Psy degree at Pacifica Graduate Institute in Santa Barbara. It's really gone viral, and she's getting lots of very cool members--new ones every day! That said, the discussions grow in fits and starts. I started the group, The Twilight Zone, and both Bonnie and I have begun some threads that get picked up and then sit for a while. Check out Bonnie's recent thread encouraging people to share their dreams. Your students might like to do that. My particular skill is in DreamTending, ala Stephen Aizenstat. However, there are many skilled dreamworkers who are members and who are gifted in other forms of dreamwork. I'd love to hear from people who work in different modalities. Perhaps you'd share your own style and experience in the group? Anyhow, I'm certain that the site will only gather more steam over time. So glad to welcome you aboard!!!

Your sailing life reminded me of a verse from The Tao of Sailing.

Sea is not just sea. Sail is not just sail. Ship is not just ship. There is not one thing that is only itself. Be only one thing and lose something important; be all things and find something important. The finding of self is a losing; the losing of self is a finding.

Hi Genevieve: So glad to have you in the online depth community.What an interesting coincidence. I am constantly on the lookout for content I can use on Twitter and just tonight I had thought I should search something out from Clarissa Pinkola Estes. Then, next thing I know I am on your site, and the first thing I see is that powerful quote from her!

What an amazing life you have led at sea! Your experience offers an remarkable alchemical mix in the way of water to offer to clients and contemporaries.I hope you will find this a safe place to share some of your stories and work moving forward.
