I've always been drawn to what Michael Meade called the "world behind the world," and the intersection between inner and outer natures. For me, the inner, symbolic, realm is where the creativity and connectedness that gives meaning to life is born and nurtured.

You mention the intersection between outer and inner natures. As an MFT I look upon depth psychology as describing the inner systems that the connect with the exterior systems taught in typical MFT programs. Glad another MFT is with us.
