An excellent commentary on the web of connection: "How wolves change rivers" is a beautiful 5-minute film, narrated by George Monbiot, on the complex ecological role –a so-called “trophic cascade” – played by wolves, as this was demonstrated when they were re-introduced in Yellowstone National Park.
