  • Good morning Jeffrey - how lovely you could hear your mothers 'beautiful, kind voice' emanating out in your voice, that deep loving connection with the feminine, a great 'mother/child reunion' moment is truly "only a moment away." Rekindling, resurrecting felt senses of deeply rooted loving bonds of unconditional love into your now.  As a mother with sons, your sharing is sweet music to my ears for I have always believed and known that lovingkindness truly does transcend all.  Thanks for all this...Peace + Love Linda

  •  Sometimes I hear songs others have written:

    Something appealing,
    Something appalling,
    Something for everyone:
    A comedy tonight!

    Nothing with kings, nothing with crowns;
    Bring on the lovers, liars and clowns!

    Old situations,
    New complications,
    Nothing portentous or polite;
    Tragedy tomorrow,
    Comedy tonight!

    Sondheim

    or

    Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!
    Um-diddle-diddle-um-diddleye
    Um-diddle-diddle-um-diddleye

    Sherman Brothers

    Sometimes,

    As I begin making my way around the store

    I hear Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers
    singing Free Falling

    I feel my lips begin to come together as
    I softly whistle the melody

    just then a large Black woman about
    6 ft... 250 lbs comes walking by
    she's got a Quiet smile on her face
    as she sings the words:

    "I'm Free, I'm Free...Free Falling !!!

    I can't help myself, I start smiling, I think to myself
    Tom Petty transcends time and place

    even a grocery store can become a sacred
    or holy place where the gospel's sung.

    lyrical writing is very important to me. Maybe it was hearing my Mother's voice which was beautiful and kind, like her ? I can't really explain it. Intellectual or scholarly  writing impresses me so much ( like shiny coins in my dream) since this is my inferior function. I envy Hillman or Shalit or Romanyshyn or Bosnak writing so much. They 're so smart. Unfortunately I'll never write like them. Unfortunately or fortunately I'll have to stick with Something convulsive,Something repulsive,Something for everyone:A comedy tonight!

  • Good morning all - found this during my google searches this past weekend and wanted to share as part of our preparation contemplation for the upcoming big feast...

  • Thank you, Linda "Tantalizing" is the word I was looking for. You gave it voice. I look forward to seeing what is next.

  • I so enjoyed this little taste of what is to come on this video webinar. Profound and provocative ; a depth psychology and poetry - a marriage made in heaven and gifted to earth. Truly food of the gods.
