I apologize for my 3 A.M. voice and English during the roundtable. I've mentioned it a few times in some of my comments, but I'll say it again: I'm a fan of Willi's work. I can imagine myself discussing about those writings, videos, and sound myths, but in the meantime I would like to see other people's stories unfolding. For instance, it seems to me that there is something interesting happening to Douglas F. Williamson and that lady from Washington state, stories unfolding in front of them.

Here are "archetypes" or rather shortcuts I wanted to share, but didn't know how to do it:

Moonchild - There is a very strange story behind this one.
Resilience in our Age of Dementia - a very nice "sound myth" made by Willi Paul
Kent Palmer - a member of Depth Psychology Alliance, someone who has given me very important suggestions and hints how to finish a chapter for this upcoming book: http://www.igi-global.com/publish/call-for-papers/call-details/1227 (Rethinking Machine Ethics in the Age of Ubiquitous Technology)
Shadow
Cascadia - both a musical scene (atmospheric black metal) and in Willi Paul's writings
Hero's Journey
U-Process - Another name for Hero's journey?
Glass Bead Game - interdisciplinarity, Hermann Hesse
War and pacifism – Should I have an opinion?
Herd - Hermann Hesse, Demian
Black swan - both a film and a (Unrelated?) book by Nassim Taleb
Dark matter & Trojan horses - a book by Dan Hill
Anticipation - Robert Rosen
Prophecy - I think I'll for now skip the story behind this one.

@J.D. Stephen Flynn: Yes, but does that Mars or Dionysus (under that or some other name) force you to wake up in the morning in sweat and tears? To read anything you can find about Mars or Dionysus? To glue their poster on your door?

Without exception we are all subject to patterns of behaviour subject to an Archetype. Perhaps 'invention' may not be anything more than prevalence of one archetype more than another which is having its day...
It's prevalence has reached our awareness!
The image of Revenge is abroad at present. Mars dominates now.
Along with the most well attended congregation of them all...at the moment: Dionysus... The god of entertainment.. No need to 'invent' rather acknowledge! .

Regardless of the outcome of this initiative, it will be one more experience. Websites such as this one http://www.fouryearsgo.org and this one http://www.earth-policy.org are nice, but there is a catch. The goal of the Earth Policy Institute used to be reduction of CO2 emissions by 80 percent before 2020. They didn't want to use social networking (there was one website) to actually be seriously involved in promotion and other activities (they are just fine if Mr. Lester Brown is promoted us some kind of genius). That Four Years.Go initiative actually had the year 2013 set as the goal.

Long story shorter (in an actually longer paragraph), I didn't want to be a terrible person with my previous comment, but it's a fact that we live in confusing times where violence is still being sown and reaped as the fastest way to achieve a goal. As it was mentioned in the introductory webinar (http://www.jungplatform.com/2013/11/course-on-alchemy-embodying-jam...) to this group http://www.depthpsychologyalliance.com/group/alchemy-study-group-wi..., this online event organized by Willi should raise the "temperature", to make us feel our failure in advance or perhaps baby steps to something more resilient. And acknowledge the number of people who can at this point stand the heat.

This one isn't about sustainability per se, I would rather call it "bearability". The 2011 (or earlier)-2013 Obama says ISIS are good. The 2014 Obama says ISIS are bad and Kurds are good. What if the 2015 Obama/TV reveals to us (does the thinking for us) that Kurds are bad? "Holy moly, I've chosen the wrong jihad." http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2802160/isis-s-weirdest-wes...

As each year passes, if we persist on an unsustainable lifestyle and mindset, the change will be more urgent.
