Event Description

Join us TODAY Saturday, October 10th for our free class: Jung and Christianity and discover how Jung understood our cultural quandaries as he searched for a new myth of meaning!

Red vs. Blue; Black vs. White; us vs. Them: Why is our contemporary world dominated by bifurcated, oppositional, dualistic thinking? According to C. G. Jung, the roots of our contemporary impasses can be found in our cultural and religious history. Join us for this free class as we explore Jung’s search for a new myth!

C. G. Jung sparked a Copernican revolution with his innovative approach to psychology. The question arises, then, “Why did this innovative thinker spend the last twenty years of his intellectual life studying and writing about Christianity?" What can we learn about ourselves and the world we live in by understanding the insightful writings on the Christian tradition by this intellectual giant? Join us for this free class while we explore why Jung put so much effort into the study of the Christian religious tradition and what his discoveries mean for us today.
