Interweave meditation, active imagining, shamanic
journeying, and nature-based experiences with Holos
Institute director Jan Edl Stein.
Applied shamanism and nature-based wisdom offer
powerful tools of change and an elegant method of
inviting the soul to be present and balanced. Explore
the intersection of inner and outer landscapes in an
integration of nature-based contemplative practices with
inner realm explorations that shamanic journeying offers.
This workshop is an immersion experience blending
didactic teaching and personal exploration. Jan
introduces techniques and concepts from traditional
shamanism and earth-based wisdom traditions as they
may be applied within the context of psychotherapeutic
or other healing modalities.
Jan Edl Stein, MFT, serves as director of Holos Institute, a counseling center based upon principles of eco-psychology. She has studied the yoga of Sri Aurobindo and Vipassanna meditation, and has trained with shamanic practitioners and indigenous shamans.
She teaches, consults, and has a private psychotherapy practice.
