Event Description

In this live episode of “Dinner & Depth,” Carol Pearson speaks with Bonnie Bright about insights from Carol’s new book, Persephone Rising: Awakening the Heroine Within

Together, we’ll explore why stories from the ancient Greeks have impacted us so strongly in contemporary life and how the field of neuroscience teaches about what we perceive as reality. Carol will discuss how recognizing patterns in imagery and narrative and correcting our biases of perception enable us to shift our stories and change our individual and collective lives.

Carol S. Pearson, Ph.D., D.Min., is an internationally known authority on archetypes & their application to leadership, organizational development, & everyday life, best known for books, such as as The Hero Within: Six Archetypes We Live By & Awakening the Heroes Within: Twelve Archetypes To Help Us Find Ourselves and Mapping the Organizational Psyche: A Jungian Theory of Organizational Dynamics and Change (co-author: John Corlett).

Her newest book, Persephone Rising: Awakening the Heroes Within is written for women & the men who partner with them at home, at work or in the community. The book’s purpose is to help us thrive in today’s complex world, while also making a contribution to others and to the greater good.

A respected scholar & higher education administrator, Dr. Pearson served most recently as Executive VP/Provost & then President of Pacifica Graduate Institute. Previously, she was Professor of Leadership Studies in the School of Public Policy & the Director of the James MacGregor Burns Academy of Leadership. She was a member of the (ILA) Int'l Leadership Association's  Board of Directors. More: www.carolspearson.com or follow her on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn

BTW, this broadcast is in WEBINAR format, which means only you will NOT be on camera unless you choose to turn on your own camera and get called on to ask a question or make a comment.

Even then, you do NOT have to turn on your camera unless you choose to. We always appreciate it if you do, because it's nice to put a face to a name and voice, but please know it is not necessary.
