  • Hi Michael. Welcome to the online depth psychology community. I'm so glad you've jumped in and shared about your work in the Mythic Journey Process. You should definitely share this in the "Published Authors" group where people can find it easily, and I hope others will also engage. The Mind/Body approach is so critical in depth psychology and the intetgration of Qigong seems inspired.

Meanwhile, as you may know, we currently have over 1450 members here from all over the world. I hope as you explore the community a bit you find a dynamic group of like-minded people who are all deeply drawn by the field of depth psychology. While there are many Jungian analysts and clinical psychologists here, our members come from many walks of life--artists, writers, doctors, healing professionals, counselors, students, business people, etc--so there is much cross-disciplinary knowledge and experience here to be shared.

On that note, there are many opportunities to engage as you browse the site. When you're ready to jump in, please feel free to post a topic for discussion in the forum, respond to someone else's post, or share a link to an article or web site you like.

Also you may want to consider participating in the online book club: July will bring us “Marked by Fire: Stories of the Jungian Way” from Editors/Jungian Analysts Patricia Damery and Naomi Ruth Lowinsky. Since the Book Club is all done via writing in an open forum, you can participate at your own level and schedule.

In case you need detailed help getting started and navigating the site, you can use the following link-- http://www.depthpsychologyalliance.com/page/navigating-the-site--and please don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions at all! I look forward to seeing you around the community. ~Bonnie Bright, Founder

I'm a new member to this group, and would like to dialogue with others about some of the contributions that I've made to the field of depth psychology. For example : 1. In the 1980's I developed the Mythic Journey Process which integrated Gendlin's Focusing with Archetypal Psychology; in the 1990's I added Tai Chi/Qigong to this process to integrate movement 2. My Mystery of Personal Identity book was the first to integrate astrology with depth psychotherapy and introduce a hermeneutic…
