"Thanks so much, Esther! There are so many scholars, artists, and writers who are being lead by Mary Magdalene as a muse right now- it feels like a truly archetypal and transformational force and movement."

  • Kayleen! what do you think?? I saw you just joined too, and have quickly gotten into some stuff they are doing on the site.
  • Welcome Kayleen,

I have already responded to your entry in the "pilgrimage" invitation to the workshop. My theological studies included Hildegard and Francis w/Clare, with a enlightening side trip with Teresa. My PhD dissertation (I hope) will be focusing on the loss of the numinous in Christianity with suggestions as to how the depth psychological lens can help redeem what we have lost. I look forward to your additions to the Alliance.

  • Hi Kayleen. Welcome to the Alliance! I'm surprised we haven't crossed paths before. I live in North Bay and completed my M.A. in the Depth program at SSU a couple of years ago. I am currently finishing coursework in the Depth program at Pacifica. I guess it's a good indication the Alliance is serving the purpose for which it was created--to bring likeminded people together to share their learning, experience, and passion regardless of where they live and whether or not they "know" each other.

Meanwhile, I'm so glad you've found us. I hope you'll jump in here and engage right away by commenting, joining discussions, checking out the groups, and posting some of your own work if you're willing. Your retreat in April looks great: You should definitely post it in the Events section. I'll send you some additional info on navigating the site under separate cover. Meanwhile, enjoy!
