Thanks, Jesse! I don't visit here very often but appreciate the emails so much. I'm at work on a book, "Mentoring a Generation," and have just facilitated a long-time work based on feminine archetypes: "the Gift Getaway Retreats for Well Women." So, I'm up to my eyeballs!
Aloha Jesse: I bet this is the longest delay on a reply! I just found your message. It may take me awhile to fully dive in but I have stepped in and joined the Seeding of the Soul Series. Looking forward to dipping further into this well of rich resources!
Thank you, Jesse! I am glad to be here. This is a great group and I like all the activities it offers! I am attending Pacifica Graduate Institute in Depth Psychology in Jungian and Archetypal Studies. It is great to see some friends from Pacifica I know and meet new people as well!
Thank you for your help in giving me tips on navigating Depth Psychology Alliance. It's been a while since I've been on the site, having been very busy with relocating to South Carolina and working with Chiron Publications on the final stages of production of my new book, titled Imaginal Figures in Everyday Life, Stories from the World Between Matter and Mind. I see that you are attending Pacifica Graduate Institute. That is also where I did my PhD studies, and for that I will always be most grateful. I wish you the very best and, do believe that Eco Psychology is vital to the fate of the planet. So happy that you're joining that good effort.
Good evening Jesse - I would love to be friend with you so we can both share in the feel of the possibilities. These are exciting times. Thanks for the invite and I look forward to our virtually deep, friendship. Peace + Love Linda
Thank you for your kind welcome message Jesse much appreciated. I do have a question which is if I want to let membership know about my book which was published a few weeks ago, what is the best way of doing that, in a blog post? I am somewhat cyber naive so all of this is unfamiliar territory for me, as is authoring a book. Since the book emerged much to my surprise I think I might as well put it out there, Best wishes James Bennett
Thank you Jesse for welcome e-mail. I was pleased to have my "Frontispiece" article published in the Fall e-zine and am working on a follow up article for the next edition. Recently I subscribed to e-zine, My question is how do I log in as required in order to post comments re two other articles in that edition which relate to my current topic.
Hello Jesse, thank you for the warm welcome. I'm happy to be here and look forward to learning more about this community. Wonderful to hear about your time at RISD. I actually moved to RI to work at the RISD museum! Many thanks, Lisa
Hello Jesse, and thank you for the wonderful welcome email. I look forward to being active on this site going forward. What a wonderful idea this online community is! Such a fabulous and fulfilling addition to the PGI community. I will be in Louisville at the beginning of April visiting my sister - how cool that you are right next door in Lafayette! Boulder area has such an array of mind-expansion and learning opportunities. Until soon... Erin
Yes I do have new depth psychology book, and I would happily submit a review had I attained one. But it’s not until tomorrow, Mar 6th, that I will receive our Advance Reading Copies from the printer. I will be mailing those free books out immediately, to every address I can think of, to tempt any reviewer to comment on it. But I think you may be the person most likely to suggest reviewers used to this field of study. Perhaps I might tempt someone you know? Any suggested addresses welcome.
“Underworld & Archetypes Fully Illustrated” by James Bennett, examines the neglected dark archetypes, those gods of the Mythological Underworld: Isis and Hades; the Dark Mother; the fiery pits and fearsome serpents. It recommends that study of the myths and legends of the place below the earth will reveal it to be not a prison of demonic persecution but a productive journey necessary for the psyche’s recovery.
My profoundest and sincerest apologies for taking so long to thank you for your warm welcome and get back to you. I missed your message the first time round and haven't been using this site. I hope to make up for that now. Thank you so much for taking an interest in me and making me feel part of this esteemed community. If you are still interested here is an excerpt from my book.
Thank you for the welcome, Jesse. Will post the opening pages of a completed work. Myth is in it, and I, perhaps, in more ways than I can tell. Been wandering through the site. Thank you for the guide.
