WITNESSING TREE SPIRITS  IN ORDINARY REALITY

Our property on the Bay of Quinte is home to several species of native trees. In one area we call the glen, we’ve been witnessing an ongoing onslaught by invasive insects. Over a period of three to four years we watched helplessly as the ash trees slowly lost their battles to the Ash Borer Beetle. It bores pencil holes into the bark, then tunnels under it, robbing the trees of vital sap. Simultaneous attacks by tent caterpillars forced the trees to leaf out twice in the same season depleting their reserves.

The first tree to come down was a 60 foot specimen that was still mostly alive when we felled it. It came down with a heavy thud that shook the little glen, and sent my son and me running for cover.  We bucked the branches and left the trunk for another day.

Three nights later I awoke around 4:30 AM for a bathroom visit, and became wide awake afterwards. Since it was a mild October night, I put on my bathrobe and slippers in the dark, and decided to walk down to the glen to make a rare, early morning meditation.

As I descended into the glen I hit something. I had forgotten about the felled tree laying in the middle of the very dark glen. Even though my eyes were dark adapted, I did not see the branches lying on the ground until I walked into them. As I peered into the darkness before me, my eyes took in a faint ribbon of light stretching away from me for many feet into the night’s darkness. I had to take a few steps back to catch my breath and regain my balance.

Puzzled, I walked back up to the rim of the glen from where I could see that there were no patches of low-lying fog forming anywhere down in the glen. The night sky above was clear and starlit, and I could not see any sky shine from other ground sources. I gave the long sliver of glowing light a wide berth so as not to disturb it, as I walked around to approach it from another angle to see if I could discover its source and extent.  This time as I got closer, I could make out a soft grey-blue  glow hovering over the full length of the carcass of the tree. As my mind took in the significance of the scene my head dropped intuitively out of respect for what I knew in my heart was a lifeforce leaving the dying tree. I said some words of regret, and my body started to shake with excitement or cold, as I sat in quiet wonder.

The glow disappeared as the morning light entered the glen. I rushed to the house to investigate the strange light on-line.  My cursory research suggested that the grey-blue glow fit the pattern for bioluminescence from decaying organic matter. The common name is Foxfire or Will ‘o the Wisp, and it was documented long ago. The usual sources are decaying matter and fungi, and the glow is so faint that it can only be observed if your eyes have been dark adapted. Apparently, the light is produced by a pair of special enzymes present in decaying matter which react with each other to release biophotons of soft light. After discussing the tree’s eerie glow with an experienced woodsmen and chemist, I chose the simple explanation that the light I had observed that morning came from rotting sawdust created under the ash bark by destructive beetle activity.

A few days later I started to dissect the trunk for firewood, and I noticed how thick the bark was, and how little actual sawdust had been produced by the beetle invaders. The amount of sawdust under the bark was trivial, and it just didn’t seem possible that so little organic matter could produce all the light that I had observed. In addition, the bark was so thick that it would surely absorb all the light photons completely. More compelling, was the sudden realization that the rest of the ash trees that were still standing were equally infected, but they did not give off any visible light emissions on that night. As the realization sank in; that the eerie glow over the dying ash tree was most likely its life force or spirit leaving the dying carcass, it sent a chill up my spine.

I consulted some of the top forestry research and management experts in Canada, who ruled out an explosion of the Armillaria fungus, that glows in the dark forest, and can spread over large areas of forest floor and acts as a communication system for trees. It became clear that the unusual glow could not be explained satisfactorily by natural processes. I reviewed my personal impressions as I witnessed the event, keeping in mind that my human presence in the glen could have perturbed the natural electromagnetic field energies present on that morning. The physical evidence I observed that morning informed me (mentally and spiritually) that spirits live  in trees. Why is there no documentation of this anywhere? Can only autistic eyes discern spirits and things that glow in the night? Now I see trees differently. Wherever there are trees, there is abundant life. They’re like living fasteners that connect the sky with the earth. Because they live in both worlds, they act as a conduit of communication between them.

FMRI studies reveal that consciousness is still measurably present after the brain/body has died, telling us that consciousness is not the result of biological processes. Science supports the theory that trees have intelligence, because trees have been observed to mount organized defences against a deadly threat like invading insects. Planning and strategizing require creative thought.

When the rest of the ash group is felled this spring, they will hopefully provide more opportunities to study this undocumented phenomenon, perhaps with a night vision camera.

Shamanic and other spiritual cultures around the world honour and use sacred trees as: portals or gateways to hidden worlds, sources of wisdom, and even wish fulfillment. To name just a few, the Mohawks of North America honour the cedar as the sacred tree of life. The Caribe natives honour the ceiba tree, and West African’s have spiritual relationships with the iroko tree.

The visible light emissions coming from the ash tree trunk 3 days after it was cut down, proved to me with high confidence that trees have a spiritual nature that gives them life, and it can be observed and possibly documented under the right conditions.

PUZZLING SYNCHRONICITY OF SHAMANS, FOXES, AND RAVENS.

Last week, a red fox came up the stairs of our back deck to check out the place, as we were eating dinner and watching, just a couple of feet away. He looked like the silly fox that I had hit with my water gun a few weeks earlier, as he came around the corner of the foundation, and was surprised by a face full of water. Our short eared cottontails are just recovering from a crash a few years ago, and still need protection.

This morning, I corresponded by email with an unknown but kindred shaman in the US, named Raven. After lunch, I did my daily walk past a small cluster of cedars which I blessed as sacred ancestral ground years ago, when I saw something strange in the ground. I moved some leaves to find part of a large black wing, partly buried. As I pulled it out of the ground, it looked like it had probably been buried by a fox.

After comparing crow and raven wing photos, it was clearly a black raven's wing that showed up in my sacred spot, along my walk, shortly after contacting another shaman of the same name. The fox is probably the link to all of this.

The local fox took over my sacred spot, by burying his raven wing "prize" in it.

While ravens are revered as spiritual night creatures and power animals, what does a raven wing mean?

DISCOVERING THAT MY 50 YEAR OLD BUDDHA IS BLUE NOT BLACK

My young spiritual path led me to many belief systems, and along the way I acquired a nice little buddha statue that looked black. When I examined it more carefully about 50 years later, I discovered that it was actually dark blue, and not black.

It reminds me, that my two eyes see the outsides of everything, and when I close them, my single inner eye sees the insides of everything. There is light in the deepest darkness, and I believe that it can be summoned with right intentions.

EACH MORNING IS PREGNANT WITH POTENTIAL TO BIRTH A NEW REALITY/WORLD

And the best minstrel of the morning to awaken new energy, is the wonderful voice of Cat Stevens [Yusuf Islam].  Many thanks for starting my mornings with spiritual grace and wonderment.

ARE ALL OF OUR PATHS CONVERGING TO THE SAME CRISIS POINT?

Have we arrived at a point in our collective cycles, when we must prepare to face and master our delusions, or remain locked in the matrix of the great game?

DOES THE MAGIC OF TULPAS WORK IN CYCLES TO REPRODUCE EXISTENTIAL THREATS TO HUMANITY?

Thousands of years ago, temple priests with ambitious political agendas accessed mental technologies developed by other spiritual mystery schools, and used their ancient tulpa knowledge [magic?] to create divine allies that would support their goals. Once a tulpa is developed with repeated intentions, a process that appears to transfer human conscious and subconscious energy incrementally to inanimate objects, it can take on a life of its own, and become unmanageable.

DO INTELLIGENT SYSTEMS NEED A LOCAL BRAIN TO EXIST AND OPERATE?

Since childhood, trees have been one of my closest, dearest, and most reliable allies.  A few years ago, I recognized that the great forests of the world were still being abused, largely by people who were ignorant and indifferent to the negative consequences of destroying trees, and how their destruction impacts our ONLY environment.

To raise awareness of how trees are essential to the creation and maintenance of the environment we live in, I decided to put  "friendly faces on trees" in public places, eg: parks, roadsides, mall parking lots, schoolyards, and cemeteries. Humans need a face to talk to, in order to relate, and get to know the trees in their neighbourhoods. Unfortunately, my creative skills were not good enough to produce the many faces required, and that notion died quickly. Perhaps someday, someone else will start that campaign.

                                                                  Thanks Etsy

Humanity has enjoyed a life-giving, beneficial relationship with the tree world, and we recognize that a tree is an intelligent system. So where is that intelligence located?

Is there one collective brain to administer to the needs of the tree world. We have discovered underground networks of fungi, that act as electrochemical communication systems for individual trees across large expanses?

Does each species of tree have its own spirit intelligence, like a deva or goddess?

Or does each tree have a localized brain, and if so, where is it, in the branches, in the trunk, or the roots?

My photo - The Southern Sentinel

I posit, that each tree has an individual and local brain, and it's most likely located right here, at the place where the land meets the sky, at ground level. Part of the tree's brain or intelligence center is above the soil where it engages the natural forces of light that shower life giving energy to the ground, and the rest is below the soil, where it works with the forces of darkness, and where life energy is recycled before being taken back up into the tree and released into the surrounding environment as positive energy.

HOW MUCH DID THE DEEP STATE PAY TRUMP TO SET UP AMERICA FOR TOTALITARIAN GOVERNANCE?

The Bush Gang, laid the groundwork for totalitarian rule with the Patriot Act, in which honest and legitimate political dissenters would be summarily: silenced, neutralized, or eliminated.

The Trump Gang, used social delusions to generate political turmoil and domestic chaos to usher in an enormous lockdown of America. Trump tore the veneer of civilization off the face of America, as he intentionally created: moral, ethical, and legal confusion, taking America DOWN into new levels of depravity. He has succeeded in destabilizing just about everything in America, ie: toxic trade wars, confusion about foreign policy, attacking innocent nations like Iran, supporting Israel's colonization of Palestine and Jerusalem with American weapons, and of course his best work was deconstructing the American economy so he and his family could take everything they coveted.

Same Old Destructive Ego Energy?

And somehow, Trump still managed to fool half of America into believing that he is an agent for good. Trump's ego expresses itself in a manner that is striking similar to Yahweh's ego expression, and I wouldn't be surprised if they are kindred spirits, joined by the same destructive energy.

DID TRUMP, A LONGITUINDAL LIAR, STAGE HIS COVID INFECTION TO ATTRACT THE SYMPATHY VOTE?

Donald Trump has lied about everything so far, so why not his alleged infection? His illness and recovery were unusual and there is some medical uncertainty surrounding his stay at the Bethesda Medical Centre.

Global News Service provides this item:

"Trump announced on Twitter early Friday that he and first lady Melania Trump had tested positive for the virus. The president’s doctor, Sean Conley, and his chief of staff, Mark Meadows, have offered conflicting accounts of his diagnosis. On Friday, for example, Conley was evasive when asked multiple times whether Trump had been given oxygen at any point."

THE ANKH OR TAU IS THE UNIVERSAL SYMBOL OF EVERLASTING LIFE THROUGH SPIRITUAL FREEDOM

Sacred symbols have been around since humans learned to make their mark on the landscape, to pass on extraordinary information. I believe this natural human practice was inspired by what Schopenhauer called: "their will to life".

Many of our more senior human ancestors had matured enough to grow "foresight", and they cared enough about the next generations to leave a legacy of what they had learned. Like humans today, when our ancestors experienced something really profound or special, they tried to save it as best they could in: stone, wood, stories, symbols, etc..

Sumerian records inform us that the ankh was brought to Earth as a symbol of everlasting life, and adopted by Egyptian culture. It was granted to those mortals [humans], who served the Egyptian pantheon of gods faithfully. The ankh is the counter sign to the Annunaki cross of spiritual domination worn on the chests of Annunaki warrior gods. Their colony on earth was populated by worker slaves that the Annunaki designed from the local biped. They ruled and commanded their slaves through the pineal gland communication system. Many rock carvings depict the power of the reptilian looking alien gods, as they install pineal gland monitoring devices in their human creations.

The pineal gland allows the slave master to insinuate himself into the thoughts of his slave, as though he was part of the familiar mental landscape.

Freedom from this form of spiritual domination was symbolized by the Ankh.

Over time, the ankh evolved into a simpler form, known as the Tau...and it has been found in several places in the America's where the Hopi and Mayans used it for secret practices. This depiction of the tree of life, looks like the Hanging Man Tarot card.

And in Mexico,"the Ankh of everlasting life" rises up out of the ground as architecture.

What is the statistical probability of this piece of Ankh architecture being constructed on the other side of the world, with original ideas?

ARTHUR SCHOPENHAUER, 1788- 1860- A KINDRED SPIRIT.

I read about Schopenhauer many years ago, but dismissed his thinking because I was not ready. Today, his words have new meaning, and I’ve rediscovered another kindred spirit.

It was documented by investigator Holger Kirsten, in “Jesus Lived in India”, that Jeshua [Jesus] the itinerant shaman, studied and mastered mental technologies, and learned sacred knowledge from Buddhists in Tibet. It’s commonly accepted that Schopenhauer was probably the first western philosopher to study, and incorporate Buddhist teachings into his work.

Like the first Buddha, Schopenhauer awoke less than 2 centuries ago, to see and recognize the ubiquitous evil behind human suffering.  Schopenhauer’s vision was not restricted or filtered by false religious dogma’s, and he was able to transcend the social delusions that dominated, and blinded Christian Europe.

Under the influence of compassion, his cosmic vision blossomed into a new understanding of the primary force he called the “will to life”…. which is evident throughout nature, and human history.

My favourite Schopenhauer quote is:  “All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed, next it is violently attacked, finally it is held to be self evident.”

TRANSFORMING FROM NATURAL BORN TREE KILLER TO TREE LOVER

I killed my first tree out of love, at the age of five.

My life began in Belgium, a few years after Germany attempted to colonize Europe and the USSR with massive violence, in what westerners euphemistically called WWII, to avoid using the guilt word, “colonization”, for which European nations were infamous.

After my Polish parents were released by Soviet forces, from five years of slavery in German labour camps, they fled to Belgium, and then to Canada. Here, we were finally able to escape the regular cycle of insanity produced by European Christian violence, a self-destructive social disease that had turned great cities into wasteful cemeteries. European wars were control mechanisms, ie: repeating waves of physical and spiritual destruction launched by the same elitist architects of war. Europe’s aristocracy drove humanity down into the depths of depravity, as a way of degrading, lowering, and controlling human consciousness.

Like most war refugees whose normal lives were destroyed by the wanton destruction and chaos of war, we arrived in Canada penniless, and with no prospects. Only the surviving love of our parents carried us forward, out of the world of hate, death, and desperation, created and imposed on European families by  the same elitist architects that drive humanity to make endless wars. Even five years after WWII, European parents who had given up on humanity, were still throwing their children into Europe’s canals, before jumping in themselves, out of despair.

In Canada we found refuge. The first few years were a constant struggle to learn the culture, and get our lives established, and moving forward. Our first Christmas was approaching, and my two older sisters and I yearned for the good feelings that came at the best time of the year.  In our first year there was no money for toys, not even a Christmas tree. Would Christmas come without a tree?

To my five year old mind, Christmas came as a tree, decorated with candles, loads of shiny sparkling things, candies, and lots of Alleluias. One evening before Christmas, I had been playing outside alone, when I spotted a small Christmas tree next door, in the neighbour’s yard.  The tree was one of several that had been recently planted by the homeowners.  I had found my Christmas tree.

It was getting dark as I walked over to the line of newly planted evergreens. I knew nothing about trees, except what I had seen in our flat, and in parks in Belgium. I pulled on the little tree to see if it would come with me, but it refused. I knelt down to see how the tree was anchored to the ground, but could not see into the ground.

Suddenly, the lights came on the owner’s house, and a lady stood in the back window looking out at the backyard where I was kneeling.  Instinctively, my innate programming kicked in, and I dropped to the ground to hide myself behind the tree. I held my breath, waiting for darkness to cover and protect me.

The lady disappeared from the window, and after a few minutes, my mind began to organize a plan that would ensure that Christmas would come. I began to pull on the little tree with all my strength but it would not budge. Whenever the lady reappeared in the window, I would hit the dirt.

I pulled this way and that way, kicked and scratched the ground, tried a few curse words that I thought were magic, but the tree had a mind of its own, and would not cooperate.

I had to stand up and expose myself to the window light, in order to use my legs to pull.  In that moment, a little boy and a little tree came together, and fell into a contest of wills, for life.  Somewhere, I found reserves of strength I did not know I possessed, and when I pulled with every ounce of will power, I overcame the little tree’s grip on the Earth, and it came out of its hole.

By the light of the window, I could see what I had just done. I had broken a few branches during the struggle, but now there was another tree, a smaller tree attached to the bottom of the little tree that I had just pulled from the ground. I had never seen the other side, the down side of a tree until now, and it came as an ugly shock. The beautiful little tree that I had coveted and taken from the ground was not a true Christmas tree because it came with an ugly shadow of itself, and I could not separate them.

I struggled with disappointment as I dragged the little trees to my front door, hoping that dad would be able to sort out my tree mess.  When the door opened, my mother’s gasp blew away the delusion I had been constructing around the little tree.  One sound from her, and I knew immediately, that everything that I had done was terribly wrong. My heroic heart sank to my feet. My quest to save Christmas was in vain.

Dad closed his eyes when he asked where I got the tree. My feeble explanation that it was a wild tree that belonged to no one, was not accepted. Dad took both trees back where I had done my evil deed, and replanted the ugly part in the ground.

There was no tree in our home that first Christmas, but for many years afterwards we celebrated the best time of the year around beautifully decorated, and loved Christmas trees.

I grew up fascinated by trees, and I’ve formed an enduring relationship with them that allows me to call them my standing brothers and sisters.

Now, when I can’t sleep and I need a spiritual boost, I visit the sacred Christmas tree that I grow in my heart. It glows constantly with the divine violet light of transformative knowing. We are love, and we will return to love when this life’s journey is complete.

This "Pineal Oak", stands as a silent sentinel on the south slope of my home...

The powerful roots of our southern oak sentinel are buried deep in the limestone escarpment, where they guard nature's secrets. One local treasure is a type of double-ended quartz, commonly referred to as Herkimer Diamonds.

These quartz crystals are a known source of sacred energy known by many names; eg: Vril, prana, chi, orgone, subtle energies that can be manipulated by humans.
