I loved this song long before I could understand English. A few years ago, during my "awakening", it provided so much guidance. The lyrics are Jungian... "You friend is close by your side, and speaks in far ancient tongue" (archetypes!). "A season's…
This is a lecture (Q & A forthcoming) that I gave in Ottawa, Canada's capital city, on Saturday. I discuss the development of post-modernism, its relationship to Marxism, the dangers it poses to the civilization of the West (based on Jungian…

Two years ago, I experienced "a spiritual awakening" after a painful break-up. Things came into my Life that genuinely guided me through my process. Jung's work drew my attention when I read an article about his "collective unconscious"-concept. This "triggered" me because I have always "known" that there is some type of collective memory, even though it is not materially observable. As I got deeper into Jung's legacy, I noticed that the journey I had walked with my ex-partner reflected my inner process of "animus integration". When I started to have "visions", I dived into dream analysis and symbology. And throughout the process, I have become passionate about astrology. Now, I want to spend the rest of my Life sharing these experiences with other people. I am writing a book, but I'm not yet fully embodying the language I need to really allow my message to come across. That is why I would like to create a firmer foundation of knowledge and insights about Jung's work. I believe I can find the resources within the Depth Psychology Alliance.
Do you belong to any other online Psychology-related communities or orgs? If so, which?
Welcome, Susan. It's great to have you in the Depth Psychology Alliance community. I've been enjoying the videos you are finding for our library! Thank you for that.
I'm sure you're finding lots of resources here in many forms that align with your interests, including some courses about to begin on Typologies, Applied Jungian Psychology, Shadow Work, and a Dream Group.
Also, the Earth, Climate, Dreams symposium just began a week ago and you can easily catch up with the recordings if that is a topic that speaks to you and you haven't registered yet.
