Thank you, Die-off it is! I resonate with this image as I am three years into the candida cleanse both psychic and somatic. Jung was a shaman, as it has been said. We are excavating the deeps, though I have found that…"
I read your piece, thank you. In the depths, we are being shredded. In the depths we are engaged in the great battle. Yet we continue to see only the outer conflicts and terrors and avoid resolving our own.…"
"I responded to the word "bloody." I have been sorrowfully reflecting of late that Jung's dream image of "rivers of blood" heralding WWI is upon us. As we know, we are living in a time where many cultural…"
You are so right, as psychology defined is in truth “the study of soul.” Within this definition, of course is our tried and true Psyche/Eros myth to which I often refer when tasks are almost too arduous.
"Speaking only from my experience -- I would think the first “test” would be to engage in a Jungian
Analysis. Then one may experience the confrontation with one’s own shadow and, by and by, the (in my estimation) most…"
I wrote the following introduction to a book published in 1993. At the time I was ensconced in the importance of birthing the Feminine (Soul). All these years later it seems evident to me that the only solution is to…"
This group exists as a place to further and expand on the inquiry into the role of depth psychology, now and in the future; for clinicians and non-clinicians. It is intended to look at what role it plays in our individual lives as well as in the culture, and how we might "take depth psychology to the streets" as an offering to help restore balance in a world that is currently out of balance on so many levels. Anyone can add thoughts, comments, questions, images, links, articles, etc. that you…See More

I have been a student of Jung since 1983. I have been writing my personal myth since 1991. I would hope to gain a degree of "socialization of Self" with like-individuating souls.
I have recently published (8) hardover books-- including a trilogy of memoir, poetry, novel, and novella covering 20 years of personal mythmaking-- to (8) paperbacks on Amazon here: http://www.amazon.com/s?ie=UTF8&field-author=Pamela%20Preston&a...

While there are many Jungian analysts and clinical psychologists here, our members come from many walks of life--artists, writers, doctors, healing professionals, counselors, students, business people, etc--so there is much cross-disciplinary knowledge and experience here to be shared.
