If you are signing up as an Individual Member, do you have a degree in Depth Psychology?
Are you a licensed or clinical therapist?
No - I am a mentor, a spiritual director, a dream worker, and a consultant
Please share a little about yourself by way of introduction. What draws you to Depth Psychology and what are you looking for from this community?
I have been studying and using Depth Psychology in my own life and to assist others for many years. I resonate with the perspective of wholeness and the connection across scales, times and species to all of life. I expect the materials and experiences available through Depth Psychology Alliance will deepen and broaden this connection.
Do you belong to any other online Psychology-related communities or orgs? If so, which?
No - Among other things I've attended many seminars, conferences and webinars coordinated by: the Assisi Institute of VT; the NY Center for Jungian Studies; James Hollis' work and Jungian Center in TX; the Jungian Group in Evanston IL; the CT Assoc of Jungian Psychology, and others.

As you may know, we currently have over 1800 members from all over the world and we're growing. I hope as you explore the community a bit you find a dynamic group of like-minded people who are all deeply drawn by the field of depth psychology. While there are many Jungian analysts and clinical psychologists here, our members come from various walks of life including artists, writers, doctors, scientists, healing professionals, counselors, students, business people, etc--so there is much cross-disciplinary knowledge and experience here to be shared. On that note, there are many opportunities to engage as you browse the site. When you're ready to jump in, please feel free to post a topic for discussion in the forum, respond to someone else's post, or share a link to an article or web site you like.
Also you may want to consider joining the discussion in the online book club. In January we are featuring "The War of the Gods in Addiction" with David E. Schoen. The Book Club this month consists of four live teleseminars with the author and an online discussion forum via writing so you can participate at your own level and schedule--and you can join the discussion anytime, even if you don't have the book. Also upcoming in January is a special study group on the Red Book with Robert Bosnak starting January 19. In case you need detailed help getting started and navigating the site, you can use the following link----http://www.depthpsychologyalliance.com/page/navigating-the-site----and please don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions at all! I look forward to seeing you around the community
