  • Hi Patty!  Thank you for the welcome and becoming a friend.  I am not sure how all this works but with time I will get it!!

  • Patty,

I understand your challenge to put Jungian/Depth psychological language into "everyday" language. Sadly some have just given up and kept the language as an In-group designator. My best to your endeavor and I look forward to reading your coming book.

  • Welcome Patty,

Glad you found the Alliance and decided to join. I am very interested in how you used depth psychology to heal bipolar consciousness, if you don't mind. I believe you will find much of interest in the many blogs, forums and groups so I look forward to your posts.

  • Hi Patty. Welcome to the Alliance. So glad you're here. Once you have a chance to explore the Alliance a bit, I think you'll find a dynamic group of likeminded people who are all deeply drawn to the field of depth psychology.

While there are many Jungian analysts and clinicians here, our members come from many walks of life--artists, writers, doctors, healing professionals, counselors, students, business people, etc--so there is much cross-disciplinary knowledge and experience here to be shared.

On that note, I think you'll find many opportunities to engage as you browse the vast content and interact with others. You may want to consider joining the online book club —There's a new author each month, and you can jump in at anytime and participate at whatever level you wish. Even if you don't have the book for this month, you can read all the comments that have gone on so far and get a feel for it. February offers a wonderful new book from Jungian Analyst Erel Shalit, as well as a special online study group on Astrology with long-time astrologer Kathleen Burt.

Also, you don't mention where in CA you are, but we are hosting the first in-person Meetup and Speaker evening in the SF Bay area on March 23. You can check the events section for more details.
