  • Welcome Pam,

I just sent an email to a new member who is involved with the Queensland Jungian group. Are you familiar with them? I used to run a "fairy-tale evening" and enjoyed the fellowship gained by exploring the wisdom of fairy-tales in a group format. I would enjoy hearing how you have used fairy-tales in your work. There are so many topics within the many blogs, forums, and groups that I believe you will find much to your interests. Again, welcome.

  • Hi Pam. Welcome to the Alliance. Very cool web site you have. I'm always looking for great content to share via Twitter and Facebook, so I'm glad to see your work!

Meanwhile, I believe as you explore the community a bit you will find a dynamic group of likeminded people who are all deeply drawn by the field of depth psychology. While there are many Jungian analysts and clinical psychologists here, our members come from many walks of life--artists, writers, doctors, healing professionals, counselors, students, business people, etc--so there is much cross-disciplinary knowledge and experience here to be shared.

On that note, there are many opportunities to engage as you browse the site. When you're ready to jump in, please feel free to post a topic for discussion in the forum, respond to someone else's post, or share a link to an article or web site you like. You can also post a few paragraphs of your own blog in the Blogs section and put a link so people can go to your site and read the rest.

Also, you may want to consider joining the online book club—There's a new author each month, and you can jump in at anytime and participate at whatever level you wish. The Book Club is all done via writing in an open forum, so you can read all the comments that have gone on so far and get a feel for what's happening. As you may know, April's featured book is "Eros and the Shattering Gaze: Transcending Narcissism" with Jungian analyst Ken Kimmel.

In case you need detailed help getting started and navigating the site, you can use the following link-- http://www.depthpsychologyalliance.com/page/navigating-the-site--and please don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions at all! I look forward to seeing you around the community~Bonnie Bright, Founder
