Susan Stewart, PhD, is an emerita professor of psychology at Sonoma State University, a retired psychotherapist, and a workshop facilitator. A baby boomer who turned seventy-two just before publishing this book, she belongs to a women’s group that has been meeting for forty-eight years. She is blessed with two grown sons, Avery and Logan, and four grandchildren—Lukas, Lona Louisa, Madison, and Natalie, ages four, six, nineteen, and twenty-two, respectively, at the time of this book’s publication.
