The challenges and opportunities of technology and the frenetic pace which our current culture demands present a conundrum for modern humans. While there is much to gain, we also find ourselves ever more frequently co-opted by a culture that demands speed and breadth of engagement over reflection and depth.
January 2016 brings a new opportunity to slow down and re-engage the imagination to start the new year off in a different way. These 4 online interactive seminars will make a wonderful gift for yourself or a loved one.
In this 4-week online course, Robert, Brian, and Bonnie will discuss technology, ecology, poetry, and dreams, and identify ways to creatively engage with all life has to offer when one is willing to surrender to poetic sensibility.
Each week you will receive designated readings and inspiring exercises that will help you reconnect with your greater self, with others, and to your own inherent poetic sensibility. There will also be group discussion and the chance to share about your experiences in each session.
Join us for the following topics:
Wed, 1/6—Week 1: Soul Work, Poetry, Homecoming
Wed, 1/13—Week 2: The Dream & the Poem
Wed, 1/20—Week 3: Technology: TV, PC’s & the Mythic Poetic Landscape
Wed, 1/27—Week 4: Ecology: Poems of the Earth
Don't miss your chance to start the new year by accessing a more soulful way of being in the midst of the distractions of the modern world
