Study with Zen Master Genpo Merzel to learn & deepen your knowledge of Big Mind™, a concept rooted in Jungian Psychology & in Eastern Zen.
Runs 4 weeks & includes 4 live lectures plus 2 teleconference/Q&A sessions with Genpo Merzel during the month, a study guide, & an online written discussion forum to connect with your peers around the material.
In 1983 Genpo began studying with Hal Stone, a Jungian analyst who created a therapeutic technique called Voice Dialogue. Now Genpo combines Zen tradition with insights of such visionary western figures as C.G. Jung , Fritz Perls & Hal Stone, enabling virtually anyone to realize their true nature and deepen it through meditation.
Genpo describes Big Mind as "opening our mind...our consciousness to infinite." Ken Wilber has described Genpo Merzel's Big Mind Process as "arguably the most important and original discovery in last two centuries of Buddhism."

Dennis Genpo Merzel is a revolutionary in tradition of old Zen Masters who so embodied Buddhist teaching that they were able to revitalize and transform it for ir own day and age. As Buddhism moved from India to China to Japan and or Asian cultures, it found unique expression in each culture that made its fundamental teachings resonate for a new time & place. Genpo Roshi is working to transmit essence of Buddha's teachings in a way that is readily accessible to Westerners and relevant to our everyday life.
